Hello Manavon Families,
My name is Dr. Nikki Celotto, and I am the principal of Manavon Elementary School and Phoenixville Area Early Learning Center. I am so excited to be back in the Phoenixville Area School District and honored to lead both schools.
I have been dedicating my life to the field of education for the past twenty-three years. I began my career as an English teacher in 1999 and came to the Phoenixville Area School District to teach English at the high school in 2006. In 2015, I took a position as the assistant principal (intern) at PAHS for two years and then moved to Manavon/Phoenixville Area Early Learning Center as the assistant principal for one year. In the fall of 2018, I left Phoenixville to become the principal of Reeceville Elementary School in the Coatesville Area School District, where I have been for the past four years.
On a personal note, I currently reside in Broomall with my husband, Robby and our pitbull, Marcella. We have three children: our son, Joey; and daughters, Danielle, and Nicole. We are excited to soon welcome a son-in-law, Ben, into the family in October. I consider myself a lifelong learner and recently graduated from Saint Joseph's University (the Hawk will never die!) with a Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership. My focus was on cultural responsiveness and growth mindset. I hope to foster in our students a continued love of learning; acceptance, appreciation, and celebration of others' differences; and a positive outlook which thrives on challenges.
Relationships between school and home are integral to the success of all students, and I look forward to partnering with you for your child's success, not only academically, but socially and emotionally as well.
Sincerely,
Dr. Nikki Celotto
